Shockwave Therapy at Randour Chiropractic Clinics

Coming Soon to Carnegie!

Randour Chiropractic Clinics is excited to announce the upcoming addition of Shockwave Therapy — a non-invasive treatment option designed to help support recovery from chronic pain, tendon irritation, scar tissue, and soft tissue injuries.

Using acoustic pressure wave technology, shockwave therapy may help stimulate the body’s natural healing response in chronically irritated or injured tissue without injections or surgery.

Conditions Commonly Treated with Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy may be used to help support recovery from:

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Achilles tendonitis

  • Tennis elbow

  • Golfer’s elbow

  • Shoulder pain

  • Calcific rotator cuff tendinitis

  • Heel spurs

  • Shin splints

  • Knee pain

  • Patellar tendonitis

  • Hamstring injuries

  • Scar tissue

  • Chronic tightness

  • Sports and overuse injuries

How Shockwave Therapy Works

During treatment, a handheld applicator delivers controlled acoustic pressure waves to the affected area. These waves are designed to stimulate circulation and healing activity within chronically irritated tissue.

Most treatments are quick and performed right in the office. Some patients experience mild soreness afterward, similar to a workout, but downtime is minimal.
